Summer 2009 - Sno' Dog heads to Maine
Nowhere else in the world looks like this! It's got to be MAINE! This shot was taken in Cape Porpoise Harbor
on the first day of our Summer 2009 Maine Cruise. We pulled in here for a brief respite from the fog that
followed us from Portsmouth, NH to Portland, ME. It was no sweat, however with radar and our trusty GPS.
Portland Head Light was a welcome sight as it loomed
out of the fog at the entrance to Portland Harbor
Our new dinghy! This Lake amphib tied up behind us a Cook's

hardly even a cell phone signal along most of the

which works pretty well from NH to FL, seems
particularly weak here in Maine.
Heading out of New Harbor on a calm morning
Painted rock on Sprucehead Island - Dah-Dit = "N"
Not sure the significance, perhaps it's a target?
Owl's Head at the approach to Rockland - Camden hills in the background. Welcome to downeast Maine!
