In Georgia the tide can run over 6 feet, you don't want to cut too close to the channel markers. Low tide occurred around mid-day causing much grief among the deeper draft boats. |

In Charleston, we docked at the City Marina just before a big thunderstorm struck. They put us inside the Mega Dock which was calm enough - but it was a ten-minute walk to land from there ! |
Snow dog, Madison was not happy about the long walk from our spot on the Mega Dock to the nearest grass! (Next time, we will go back to the Maritime Center.) |
