Here, we are at the newly refurbished town landing in Bucksport.  The new bridge across the Penobscot in background.
We met Nancy's parents in Belfast and toured Penobscot Bay for a couple of days with them. Nancy's mother grew up in Belfast and it was fun to hear some of her childhood memories of the place.  As we passed a small lighthouse about two miles out of the harbor, she told us she remembered skating out there on one particularly cold winter when she was ten.!  Guess that was before global warming!

Once again Sno' Dog is dwarfed by a larger boat, this time a 50-passenger cruise ship at Belfast town docks.

This little girl was proud to show us her unusual find: a nine-armed starfish!
