The house is a traditional Dutch Colonial style wood frame originally built in 1928. In 1988, a three-
story 16' x 20" addition was constructed permitting a major enlargement of the kitchen as well as the
addition of a den, a deck and a third bedroom. It also included a 15' x 19' garage/workshop basement
area with an on-grade 7' x 9' overhead door. All new windows and doors utilize "Low-E" double-pane
glazing. At the time of the addition, wiring and plumbing were brought into compliance with existing
codes; a second (100 Amp) service panel was added. The house, including the new addition, has maple
hardwood floors; the kitchen floor is glazed ceramic tile. The trim throughout the house is cherry-
stained spruce and pine with in a natural finish.
