One of the many small-boat harbors in Sitka.  Like most southeast Alaska towns, Sitka is accessible only by boat or plane.
Another popular cruise-ship port, but here there are no docks big enough - tourists are "tendered" in by lifeboat/tenders.

An aluminum power cat.  We saw a bunch of these in AK - not something you see on the US East Coast.
The lifeboats/tenders aboard the Oosterdam were twin-diesel power cats. They appeared to be made in Italy.

We never went a day on this cruise without seeing a powercat, some days we saw dozens!
